Designed for a wide range of industrial applications, including chemical, food and beverage, packaging, automotive, and building automation, Schneider Electric focused on robustness in the new XB5F range. This range has been specifically engineered to meet the performance demands of electrical machines and control panels in harsh environments and complies with international IEC and UL standards. With IP66, IP67, IP69, and IP69K ratings and an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +70°C, the range also features enhanced mechanical strength and shock resistance.

In addition to delivering enhanced performance across the Harmony range, the latest devices also feature an aesthetic upgrade, boasting a new, more modern design. The XB5F range is available in a plastic body and a variety of colors, including new green and blue caps for non-illuminated functions, giving machine control interfaces a distinctly contemporary look. These robust and user-friendly products enhance the quality of machines and control panels without significantly increasing costs.

In addition to the XB5F range, Schneider Electric has launched a new series of illuminated audible alarms for use in operator alarm systems, designed for mounting on a control panel with a standard 22 mm cutout. The new IP69-rated XB5K range is available with and without illumination and in red or amber. The devices operate on various voltages (24 V, 120 V AC/DC, or 230 V AC) and feature dual alarm capabilities with either visual or audible alerts that can be continuous or intermittent, depending on the system's electrical connection.
