encoder-wachendorff wdgi-wThe operating temperature range of a standard WDGI encoder with a connector output has been extended to -40°C to +85°C. This temperature range extension is available as an option for encoders with a cable output.

WDGI encoders offer the possibility of working with a number of pulses starting from 1200 pulses per revolution with frequencies up to 600 kHz (TTL) or 2 MHz (HTL).

The heavy-duty WDGI58D variant offers a 25% higher load capacity as standard compared to the previous model. This equates to 500 N in both the axial and radial load directions. This ensures the encoder has sufficient reserves, even under extreme shaft loads, which is crucial for a long service life.

The pressure-compensating diaphragm ensures the encoder's reliability even under rapid temperature changes, for example, when used in mobile machinery or in high humidity. Despite the diaphragm, the encoders boast a high protection rating of up to IP67 and are also resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

The new encoder cover design is manufactured from pressed aluminum.

A labeling strip (e.g., for marking plants/places) can be attached to the integrated eyelet on the housing cover.
