Magnetic sensor for MZCG cylinders
The SICK MZCG magnetic cylinder sensor is used to detect the position of pneumatic grippers or miniature pneumatic cylinders with a C-slot. Thanks to its universal housing design, it fits the various C-slots of most common manufacturers. It forms the basis of SICK's new range of sensors for C-slot cylinders.
With a small 12.2 mm housing and a 90° rotated radial cable connection, it is ideal for small drives. Simply drop the sensor into the C-slot and secure it to the cylinder in an instant.
The short switching point of the MZCG magnetic cylinder sensor, optimized for gripper applications, enables shorter cycle times. The special cable withstands high torsional forces and a large number of rapid changes of direction, making it ideal for highly dynamic applications such as robotics, material handling and assembly, and the electronics industry. However, the MZCG is also suitable for use with robots and is available with a cable compatible with cable carriers.
