wattmeter-power meterThese new power meters allow for accurate power measurements in various wiring configurations, including 3-phase WYE and DELTA, and separate phases. They incorporate digital DSP technology, replacing the less accurate and slower technology of traditional analog circuits. Featuring 16-bit analog-to-digital converters with sampling rates up to 250 kHz, they deliver high-speed, high-precision measurements.

Their standardized dimensions of 3U height and half-rack width make them ideal for benchtop or system integration. The 4-channel 66204 model is ideal for functional and efficiency measurements on 3-phase grid inverters, as the fourth channel can be used to measure DC voltage, current, and power at the inverter input.

The 66203 and 66204 models feature a 2-shunt design to provide high-precision readings for both high and low current measurements and can support external shunts or current transformers for higher current applications. They can also perform inrush current, V/I total harmonic distortion (THD), and energy measurements. These practical functions make them ideal for meeting the demanding needs of R&D, production, and quality control departments.

These instruments feature a four-area digital display, providing seven-segment readings on the front LED panel. The user can easily select desired parameters and readings with the push of a button. They include remote control via USB or GPIB connections located on the rear panel. Optional software is available to enhance functionality and reporting, such as voltage and current waveform monitoring and harmonic analysis.

The advanced graphical software controls and captures measured data via standard USB or GPIB interfaces, proving especially useful when performing standardized tests such as IEC61000-3-2 current harmonic limit pre-compliance tests or Energy Star® low-power tests. The software can also control AC sources and electronic loads for added ease of use.
