ventisdsx-gas-wAs industry safety standards become increasingly stringent and the maintenance of life-saving instruments receives more attention than ever, the DSX Docking Station offers three easy-to-select operating modes: standalone, cloud-connected (DSXi), and local server (DSX-L). The standalone DSX is a ready-to-use solution that requires no configuration or network support. It provides ease of use for instrument shock testing and calibration, automated logging, and automated instrument activation and battery charging. Using a DSXi activation key, the standalone DSX transforms into a fully automated, cloud-connected instrument maintenance station. Nothing needs to be shipped for activation; all updates are easily performed in the field.
The DSXi is a cloud-connected station for automated log storage, fleet management, maintenance, and notification. It provides customers with the ability to manage gas detectors, access exposure and maintenance reports, check the status of each calibration gas cylinder across the entire facility, and schedule equipment updates from anywhere—from any PC or mobile device with network access. The DSXi offers an additional automatic gas replenishment calibration program and eliminates the need to monitor gas cylinder status. In local server mode, the DSX provides the option to automatically store data from all docking stations behind a corporate firewall, taking into account network and data storage restrictions or preferences.
