Therefore, below we present a representative sample of the range of the European distributor TME: products from the portfolio of three brands, diverse in terms of parameters and prices.

In this article we cover topics such as:
• Affordable, lower-consumption solutions
• Functional units with extensive possibilities
• Electronic loads for laboratories and production plants

Axiomet Brand Solutions:
Axiomet brand electronic loads are affordable devices with power ratings of 150W and 300W. These units are designed primarily for use with lower-power consumer electronics, mobile device batteries, etc. However, despite these limitations, these products have all the necessary functionality for performing complex tests. This includes constant current, voltage, resistance, and power modes, a battery discharge program, and short-circuit simulation. They can also operate in momentary mode, switching between two setpoints (using an external trigger or an internally generated signal). During operation, the load protects the connected power supply from damage according to adjustable parameters. The products are equipped with 10-register memory and the option for remote control via a serial interface (RS232).
AX-EL300W:
One of the key advantages of Axiomet products is their compact size.

Aim-TTi electronic loads

The LD400
features a backlit graphic LCD screen that ensures a clear interface.
Aim-TTi devices belong to the LD400 series and, as the name suggests, are characterized by a maximum power output of 400W, although they can reach a load of up to 600W for periods of up to 60 seconds. This allows them to be used for testing a wide range of power sources, batteries, solar cells, power supplies, converters, and more. One of the advantages of these solutions is their ability to operate at very low voltages (below 0.5V) and currents of up to 80A at 2V DC, which is particularly important when testing precision electronic components such as stabilizers and filters. Similar to the Axiomet units, the LD400 series allows for variable loads, switching between two configurations with adjustable slope time and frequency from 0.01Hz to 10kHz. This will be particularly important when simulating controller circuits that power additional loads (e.g., motor controllers, lighting controllers, pulse converters). It should be noted that a wide range of parameters was achieved while maintaining high measurement resolution: 1 mA, 1 mV, and 1 mW (0.1% accuracy for voltage and 0.2% for current). Furthermore, the units are equipped with an analog current monitor output, which is used to observe the current change curve using an oscilloscope. The ease of use of the Aim-TTi devices is further enhanced by a large, backlit LCD screen.

8600/B Series

The capabilities of B&K Precision products are best illustrated by the features of the 8600 series. The devices in this group boast a power output of up to 6kW. They allow you to program and save multi-stage tests with varying voltage, current, and rotational speed values. Each step in the programmed sequence has an adjustable length (minimum 20 µs), and a single-step list can contain up to 84 items. Configuration can be performed via the front panel interface (equipped with a clear, bright display) or remotely via serial (RS232), USB, or GPIB (IEEE-488 parallel bus) interfaces. Connectors on the back of the device also allow for the connection of an external switch, trip switch, or current sensor (proportional signal 0–10V DC on the BNC connector). Naturally, the devices feature integrated protection circuitry, self-test functionality, and other convenient features. At the same time, they are characterized by high measurement accuracy achieved through 16-bit A/D converters, providing a resolution of 1 mV and 0.1 mA. This comprehensive and automated functionality perfectly suits the requirements of production processes and ensures consistent quality in the manufactured devices.
