For accurate temperature measurement, 4x4 pixels (MFOV) are required, so objects as small as 34 µm can now be measured. This means that even the smallest structures can be analyzed at the chip level. The thermal resolution of 80 mK is excellent for this optic. The new optics' focusing mechanism allows for working at a distance of 15 mm from the object being measured.
Because the optics of the PI series infrared cameras are easily interchangeable, the system can be used flexibly for a variety of measurement tasks. Together with the supplied high-quality, fine-adjustable microscope stand, microelectronic assemblies can be easily inspected. The maximum resolution of the infrared camera is 640 x 480 pixels at a frame rate of 32 Hz, and even at 125 Hz, the PI 640i camera still delivers impressive resolutions of 640 x 120 pixels.
The unlicensed PIX Connect analysis software is included. Alternatively, a full SDK is also available.
