Spectrum Analyzers:
The new RSA5000 series real-time spectrum analyzers are based on Rigol's newly developed Ultra Real technology, featuring a completely redesigned platform that enables real-time measurements. The RSA5000 series is characterized by its compact and elegant design, touchscreen operation, and wide range of potential applications. With an additional 3.2/6.5 GHz tracking generator, it can also be used as a scalable network analyzer.
The modular RSA5000 series provides four functions:
- GPSA - Spectrum analyzer with exceptional performance
- RTSA - Real-time spectrum analyzer up to a maximum bandwidth of 40 MHz
- EMI - Pre-compliance testing according to CISPR specifications (with S1210 software)
- VSA - Digital demodulation (option planned in Q2/2018)
Electronic Loads
: Rigol's DL30xx family of high-speed, user-friendly, and state-of-the-art electronic loads further complements its existing portfolio of best-in-class laboratory equipment. Applications include research and development, as well as production and quality testing for automotive electronics, fuel cell testing, performance monitoring of telecommunications modules, and much more.
Rigol currently offers four models in this new product line, each with 200W and 350W of power:
- DL3012 - 200W, 150V / 40A
- DL3021A - 200W, 150V / 40A, additionally with LAN interface and digital IO
- DL3031 - 350W, 150V / 60A
- DL3031A - 350W, 150V / 60A, additionally with LAN interface and digital IO.
Decoding Options:
Rigol's entry-level MSO/DS1000Z and MSO/DS2000A/E oscilloscope families, as well as Rigol's mid-range DS/MSO4000 oscilloscopes, now come with all decoding options, available as a free package.
For the DS4000 series, the package includes RS232, I2C, SPI, LIN, CAN, and FlexRay bus options, making this range of instruments even more attractive. This allows users to access the DS/MSO4000 oscilloscope series with a cost-effective model and, if necessary, upgrade the software to a higher level of functionality when their measurement tasks change. A typical scenario for needing bandwidth expansion is when, for example, steeper pulse edges need to be measured or when the frequency of the test signal has increased. To this end, Rigol offers three upgrade options, which can also be implemented on previously purchased oscilloscopes, provided the latest firmware version is installed.
For the entry-level MSO/DS1000Z and MSO/DS2000A instruments, all decoding options are also available, enabling easy use of these evaluation functions even for semi-professional users. This is an essential testing criterion, especially for users with an IoT focus.
