PICMG Come-cBL6 in Detail:
The Kontron Come-cBL6 COM Express Computer-on-Module with Type 6 pinout is highly scalable and covers a wide range of requirements, utilizing processors from Intel® Core™ i7 to Intel® Celeron®. The latest 14nm Intel process technology and the fifth generation Intel® Core™ processors offer faster CPU performance, enhanced graphics performance, and lower power consumption. Up to 8GB of energy-efficient DDR3LRAM meets the most demanding memory requirements. Optional soldered memory
can support the most robust and demanding applications. State-of-the-art display designs allow for multiple displays to be connected via three independent display ports. Two are implemented as DP++ (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI), and the other as dual-channel LVDS. Four SATA 6GbE ports, 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), two USB 3.0 ports, and six USB 2.0 ports are supplied as standard interfaces.
Application-specific expansions on the support panel can be quickly attached via a single PCIe x4 slot. Additionally,
support for multi-voltage power supplies (8.5 to 20V) and the MARS intelligent battery system simplifies mobile and battery-powered designs. The Kontron COM Express Computer-on-Module Come-cBL6
supports Microsoft Windows 8.1 and 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, as well as Linux and VxWorks.
mITX in detail: The Kontron mITX motherboard is an integrated, low-power motherboard supporting 5th generation 14nm Core i7, i5, and i3 processors. This ultra-slim profile board offers a low-power platform with 15W CPUs in a 23mm form factor. It can be powered by a 12-volt notebook-style power adapter or an internal 12-volt connector. The mITX supports three independent display tubes via two DisplayPorts and two LVDS connectors. Four USB 3.0 ports and three USB 2.0 ports support multi-device connections. Two GE LAN ports and three SATA III ports supporting RAID 0 and 1 are provided as
standard interfaces. There are also two DDR3L SO-DIMM sockets supporting up to 16GB of DDR3 memory.
The Kontron mITX is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Linux operating systems. As with all Kontron motherboards, the mITX-BDU-T has up to 7 years of availability.
