With this collaboration, Danfoss expands its application expertise and becomes an independent software vendor (ISV). Together, Danfoss and Microsoft will bring their modern technology and application expertise to owners of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and industry professionals.

Microsoft™ Azure cloud infrastructure will provide scalability and data security. IoT (Internet of Things) makes business operations simpler, more efficient, and more effective. Operations are becoming increasingly complex for today's grocery stores.

Cloud-based services increase operational efficiency by processing and analyzing data from refrigeration, power, lighting, and other assets. The data is managed securely and provides valuable insights to grocery stores through user-friendly interfaces.

With Danfoss Cooling Cloud Suite, connected assets are monitored and analyzed, ensuring an immediate response in the event of compressor failure, refrigerant leaks, or other issues. Food waste can also be reduced by up to 40%, as the temperature is automatically monitored and alerts are sent to the store if the temperature exceeds the limit.

Finally, stores will be able to reduce peak loads and lower energy consumption for lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, and other electrical appliances. This will help control operating costs and reduce energy consumption.
