Distrelec serves approximately 180,000 customers in 19 countries, further expanding RS's presence in continental Europe, particularly in Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. Headquartered in Manchester, UK, Distrelec has around 400 employees and 12 sales offices across Europe. It also operates two distribution centers in Switzerland and the Netherlands and a shared services center in Latvia.
Distrelec will be integrated into the Group's EMEA region, overseen by Peter Malpas (President EMEA, RS) along with key members of the Distrelec management team, including Raj Patel (CEO) and Ben Scholey (Chief Information Officer).
