This initiative was born in response to the strategy launched by the European Commission in the summer of 2020 to reduce polluting emissions and achieve a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. In its outreach efforts to promote a green hydrogen economy, one of the association's lines of action is the promotion of the use of low-emission renewable energies.
This is a strategic market for Salicru, which in recent years has been focusing on products that reduce environmental impact and strengthen its position in the renewable energy market. A recent example is Equinox2, the new range of grid-connected and hybrid solar inverters with batteries that enable the generation of green energy in a wide variety of photovoltaic installations. Together with the SLC Energy Manager smart energy and surplus management device, these products represent a further step in the company's growth strategy.
In addition to joining the initiative, Salicru is already collaborating with local and international partners in the electrolyzer, fuel cell, and ecosystem sectors that will enable green hydrogen to accelerate climate neutrality, alongside solar and wind energy, among others.
Finally, and equally important, the company is participating in projects that facilitate the development of an extensive network of electric vehicle charging systems. These include the development of railway catenary converters to adapt power for fast-charging vehicle systems.
With all these and other upcoming actions, Salicru aims to be a key player in accelerating the international challenge of drastically reducing CO2 emissions and contributing to the greater protection of our planet.
