"Developers worldwide should receive their component samples and design kits within 24 to 48 hours – this is largely the aim of our sophisticated, automated logistics center. With the expansion that has already begun, we have gained even more room to grow," explains Oliver Konz, CEO of Würth Elektronik eiSos. Thomas Schrott, also CEO of Würth Elektronik eiSos, adds: "Würth Elektronik eiSos is expanding globally. But it's important to us that our successes and growth benefit our home region. We are committed to Waldeburg. Here, we create exciting jobs and offer opportunities for personal development in a future-oriented industry.".
The new international technology center in Munich has brought a multi-million euro investment, averaging three figures. Reinhold Würth University will be expanded with support from the Würth Group and Würth Elektronik eiSos, and expansions are also planned for the Lyon headquarters, where the global connector business is concentrated.
“On the one hand, the doubling of logistics capacity in Waldenburg and investments in the university campus in Künzelsau; and on the other hand, the Hightech Innovation Center in Munich with its international focus for the group company and global investments – these are the two sides of our growth: remaining true to the Hohenlohe region while also being a global player,” says Oliver Konz, adding: “The combination of these two sides of our corporate identity is our consistent service orientation. This applies to everyone from order pickers and product managers to sales staff in the offices, as well as the engineers who support customers in the optimal application of our components in their product designs.”.
