Battery & ES Tech Europe presents itself as a platform to promote innovation and collaboration for a strategic industry, within the context of the energy transition and Europe's need for greater autonomy and increased industrial competitiveness. In this regard, the event has attracted leading players in the ecosystem, including companies, technology centers, associations, and institutions.
The event will feature an exhibition area hosting over 50 companies and organizations, including Omron, Monolithic Power Systems, Gamma Technologies, Farnell Global, Relats, Battech, Halide Energy, Alvatek, and LiCAP. In addition, numerous companies interested in sharing the latest industry developments and discussing its future will also participate, such as Basquevolt, Acciona, Endesa, Veolia, Naturgy, EDP Renewables, Galp, Neoen, CIC energiGUNE, SolarPower Europe, Alta Renewables, Flow Batteries Europe, and Smappee, among others.
In its first edition, Battery & ES Tech also has the support and presence of key national and international entities for the promotion and strengthening of the sector, such as: the Government of Spain, through the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI); the Generalitat of Catalonia, through ACCIÓ; as well as IREC, Eurecat, BatteryPlat, BEPA, Batt4EU, CIDETEC Energy Storage, CIIAE, MAV, the Waste Cluster of Catalonia, the CTM Foundation, ALBA, VITO, Upcell Alliance, or MICMAB.
However, whether in the exhibition area or in the knowledge and networking spaces, the range of companies and institutions that have joined the show covers the entire value chain of batteries and energy storage systems: from the processing of strategic raw materials, the development of new materials and manufacturing processes or the equipment for testing and validation, to safety solutions, key components and industrial applications linked to electrification, including regulatory compliance or the design of strategic policies.
More than 40 speakers will
participate in Battery & Energy Storage Tech Europe, which will combine an exhibition area with networking spaces and an international congress addressing some of the sector's main challenges and opportunities, such as intelligent battery management, the design of sustainable systems, investment in new technologies, and the development of a more autonomous European industry.
