In addition to shorter distances and a world-class network, exhibitors and visitors benefit from the thematic proximity of both events: “The joint location of the electronica Automotive Conference brings together two of the world’s most important industry events. The result is real added value: experts from the electronica and automotive industries come into direct contact with each other to find innovative solutions that will shape the mobility of tomorrow,” says Caroline Pannier, director of the electronica trade fair.
“We are delighted that the Automotive electronics Conference will be integrated into IAA MOBILITY as a dedicated event. This will create a valuable collaboration under the umbrella of Messe München and generate significant thematic synergies between the semiconductor and mobility industries,” adds Christine von Breitenbuch, Director of IAA MOBILITY at Messe München.
Since 2006, the Automotive electronics Conference has brought together leading experts from across the automotive value chain to discuss industry trends and challenges. On the main stage of the IAA Conference, electronics will also host a panel discussion on key innovations in automotive electronics.
Focus on the new requirements arising from electrification:
The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation of its global business model, demanding new solutions. This impetus comes from the electronics industry, particularly in the areas of IoT and big data, charging infrastructure, and smart mobility. At the Automotive e-Conference 2025, experts will address topics such as the requirements for the electrification of all vehicle classes, the increasingly important role of interior and exterior vehicle lighting as a distinctive design and functional feature, and the future challenges of a carbon-neutral, sustainable, and circular supply chain throughout the vehicle lifecycle. Speakers include experts from Audi, Continental, Infineon, Microsoft, NXP, and Vishay. Keynote speakers include Peter Schiefer (President of Automotive, Infineon), Philip Ibele (Executive Vice President of E-Mobility, Bosch), and Georg Doll (CTO of Automotive & Mobility, Microsoft).
