The project is developing new, more environmentally friendly adhesives. To this end, polyurethane and epoxy bioadhesives are being synthesized and characterized from renewable sources and with the peculiarity of being removable, which will also contribute to the environmental sustainability of the products that incorporate them since they will facilitate their recycling.

The project has the collaboration of the Rey Juan Carlos University and the URV Foundation of the Rovira i Virgili University, with the participation of a dozen Valencian companies interested in this development.

This project has been funded by the Valencian Regional Government, through the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, with grants from IVACE and co-financing from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. It falls within the framework of the ERDF Operational Programme of the Valencian Community for the period 2014-2020, covering the following thematic objective of priority axis 1: strengthening research, technological development and innovation, and its investment priority 1b, which, among other objectives, aims to promote business investment in R&D&I through smart specialization and by supporting technological and applied research.
This type of funding is aimed at technology centres in the Valencian Community for the development of non-economic R&D projects carried out in cooperation with companies for the 2020 fiscal year.
