This is the fourth year that Mouser has sponsored the European IT design competition. The competition is open to teams of two to five undergraduate, master's, or doctoral engineering students, and the goal is to use IT products to design and build prototypes of electronic devices that offer solutions to real-world needs.

At last year’s awards ceremony, winners from Slovenia, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium presented diverse designs, including a deformable piezoelectric mirror, a wireless embedded data acquisition system, a smart wearable energy harvesting device, and an indoor visible light localization system.
