In just over a year and a half, the company has completed the development of its own design, including the battery, electronics, industrial design, and component selection. It also prepared all the necessary technical documentation for testing and certification, successfully passing the first evaluation process, which validated the product for commercialization. After several iterations and improvements, the company has finalized the design, which is now entering mass production.

The new production line doesn't mark the beginning of manufacturing, but rather the industrialization of the process. Compared to the manual assembly of prototypes, the semi-automated line allows for the organization of the different assembly phases, improves control of the production process, increases repeatability, and prepares production capacity for scalable manufacturing.

During product development, IONLY has also focused on strengthening its sales and technology network by participating in international trade shows, such as Solar & Storage Live Dubai, as well as conferences, specialized workshops, and business meetings. These activities have served to showcase its energy storage solution, understand market needs, and establish collaborations with distributors, installers, and other industry stakeholders.

The project has received financial support from IVACE+i, ENISA and Angels, while CDTI, Lanzadera and ITE have supported different phases related to technological development, validation, certification and industrialization of the product.

With the launch of this assembly line, IONLY begins a new stage focused on industrial manufacturing and commercial growth, maintaining its commitment to safe, modular, repairable energy storage batteries manufactured in Spain for the residential photovoltaic energy market.
