Albufera Energy Storage will also showcase the progress made in the manufacturing of its Aluminum-air batteries, and will report on the latest developments at the Battery University and its SALSA project with the first pilot project in Cuba.
Soler P and Soler L are two innovative energy storage systems specifically designed for current solar energy needs. The Soler L is a 9.6 kWh lithium-based system. Being lithium-based, it is very compact, ideal for self-consumption, and has a longer lifespan, allowing for a longer payback period. Furthermore, its dimensions of 30 x 30 x 85 cm make it one of the smallest models on the market, perfect for homes with photovoltaic panels. On the other hand, the Soler P system, based on lead-acid batteries, is designed to store up to 17.5 kWh of energy, and its main characteristics are versatility and robustness.
As Joaquín Chacón, the company's CEO, explains, SOLER L batteries are also a particularly advantageous model for farms and businesses in rural areas: “Many farms in the primary sector need to consume a lot of energy in a very short period of time, which forces them to oversize their electrical installations, with the added cost that this entails. With these lithium batteries, they can achieve significant savings on their electricity bills.”.
Joaquín Chacón believes that, following the approval of the decree allowing self-consumption, “it is necessary to promote the development of solutions that encourage consumers to invest in energy installations that move in that direction. New battery models, based on lead and lithium, and especially future aluminum-air batteries, can provide a significant boost to energy installations for self-consumption.”.

Another key activity for Albufera Energy Storage is training in energy storage systems. In this regard, they will announce an agreement with the PONS-Road Safety Foundation, which will allow them to develop, within the framework of their Battery University program, a training cycle divided into four modules based on the different types of energy storage: electrochemical, chemical, thermal, and mechanical-magnetic.
project
: a transportation system using electric vehicles and charging points powered by renewable energy. The SALSA pilot project will be implemented in Havana, but the goal is to expand it to other locations such as Ibiza, Madrid, and Brazil.
