Frequency converters can also leverage the advantages of digitalization and cloud-based information to improve their condition and perform preventative maintenance, with advanced services such as Remote Condition Monitoring.
These new converters have built-in pump functionalities such as sensorless flow calculation, multi-pump control, level control, soft pipe filling, dry-run protection, and fast ramps and a solution for keeping the pump impeller clean.
Usability is enhanced by an intuitive Hand-Off-Auto control panel and the Drive composer PC tool. The built-in energy calculator visualizes the energy savings achieved by using the converter. The converter controls virtually any type of motor, including IE4 synchronous reluctance motors. Connectivity is supported by a wide range of fieldbus protocols.
