The IMM01 and IMM02 are available with a choice of a 2:1 input range of 5 VDC (4.5 to 9.0 VDC) and 12 VDC (9.0 to 18.0 VDC). Outputs can be +3.3, +5, +12, or +15 VDC, and dual outputs of +/- 3.3, +/- 5, +/- 12, or +/- 15 VDC.
They come packaged in an industry-standard SIP-7 or SIP-8 form factor, taking up very little space on the PCB. The IMM01 uses an SIP-7 footprint and measures 19.50 x 10.60 x 9.20 mm. The 2-watt SIP-8 IMM02 occupies 21.85 x 10.60 x 9.20 mm. Capable of operating in a wide range of environments with operating temperatures from -20 to 100°C, these convection-cooled converters can deliver full power up to +60°C.
It includes a remote On/Off control pin that allows external control of the converter from a central unit, such as the startup sequence of a process.
IMM converters are available from the specialist local distributor VENCO Electrónica SA in Spain and Portugal, as well as from Farnell, element14, Digikey and have a 3-year warranty.
