These low-power, single- or dual-channel D/A converters feature 8, 10, and 2-bit resolution, an SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) interface, and are supplied in
10-pin MSOP packages. Examples of their wide range of applications in consumer, industrial, automotive, and other markets include programmed value/offset adjustment, sensor calibration, instrumentation, and motor control.

The high integration and unique feature set of the MCP48FXBXX family offer customers flexibility, low power consumption and costs, and simplify their design efforts. The integrated EEPROM option allows D/A converter settings to be recalled upon power connection, reducing the load on the microcontroller, while various shutdown modes significantly decrease current consumption in power-critical applications. These devices also feature low differential nonlinearity (DNL) for monotonic output and low integral nonlinearity (INL) for improved linearity. They can also operate under extreme temperature conditions.

The MCP48FXBXX D/A converter families are now available for sampling and volume production and are supplied in 10-pin MSOP packages.
