The RP03-RAW series has a rated output power of 3W, the RP06-RAW 6W, and the RP10-RAW 10W. All units are in a common, industry-standard DIP24 through-hole package measuring 31.8mm x 20.3mm x 10.6mm high.
The RPxx-RAW series incorporates advanced thermal and circuit design techniques that result in high efficiency and low internal temperature rise, enabling full-load, convection-cooled operation at high ambient temperatures without power reduction: 90°C for the 3W unit, 85°C for the 6W unit, and 75°C for the 10W unit. All units operate up to 105°C with derating. Comprehensive protection against input undervoltage, overtemperature, output overvoltage, short circuits, and overcurrent is included. A power-off control is also provided.

The insulation rating of the parts is 3kVAC reinforced, and certifications include EN50155, as well as IEC/EN/UL62368 and its Canadian equivalent. The EN55032 EMC Class A specification is met without additional components, while Class B can be achieved with the addition of three small external capacitors.
“These DC/DC converters are ideal as auxiliary power supplies in the harsh railway environment,” says Matthew Dauterive, DC/DC Product Manager at RECOM. “They could also be used in general industry where higher supply voltages are seen, such as in battery management systems, electric forklifts, and IoT sensors.”
The parts include a three-year warranty, and samples and OEM pricing are available from all authorized distributors or directly from RECOM.
