The PRO-M series DC voltage converter provides users with a safe and stable 24 Vdc power supply. It features a built-in metal base that offers high resistance to impacts and vibrations. Its narrow profile (only 60 mm wide) minimizes space requirements. The DC/DC converters can be installed side-by-side, saving valuable cabinet space. Integrated alarm outputs monitor the 24 V output voltage status via a PLC or other system. The DC/DC converter also compensates for voltage fluctuations caused by uncontrolled voltage surges or dips due to load currents. With its robust and compact design (150 mm x 60 mm x 130 mm L/W/H), the DC voltage converter operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. Thanks to international approvals (cULus, cURus, GL) and TÜV certification, the device can be used in a wide variety of applications worldwide.
The DC/DC converter incorporates an internal fuse at the input. A 16A /DI/DII fuse or a 16A type B (curved) or 16A type C (curved) circuit breaker is also recommended on the input line.
At the output, the device is equipped with short-circuit and overload protection. It also provides a 12A boost to 24Vdc (60°C) for 1 minute (ED = 5%) if needed.
It features various status indicators, including a green LED (DC OK) for output voltage ≥ 21.6 V, a red LED (fault) for output voltage ≤ 20.4 V, a transistor (DC OK) for output "1" (maximum load): output voltage ≥ 21.6 V (max. 250 mA), a transistor (DC OK) for output "0": output voltage ≤ 20.4 V, and relay contact status on/off: output voltage > 21.6 V / < 20.4 V. The connectors ensure secure input and output connections.
Available accessories include: a diode module (for redundant power supply system) and a capacitive module (to protect equipment powered by the activation of the circuit breakers).
