To effectively supply these applications, RECOM is taking another step forward and expanding its low-power RAC series with new 3W and 4W converters certified to EN60335 for residential use. These new additions to the RAC family are low-cost and offer excellent value for money, which is unique in the market.
RECOM's new RAC03-G and RAC04-G series were specifically designed to provide continuous and efficient power to smart building infrastructures. Their high efficiency and no-load power consumption of only 75 mW make them exceptional energy-saving solutions, essential for critical power systems. Standard outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24 V DC are suitable for power relays, gateways, and building automation nodes. A universal input voltage range of 85 V AC to 305 V AC enables worldwide use. These series operate within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and are protected against overcurrent and short circuits. They are certified to EN55022 Class A (RAC-GA) or Class B (RAC-GB) without the need for additional components. The RACxx-GA series is also certified to EN60335. All modules are also certified according to EN60950 and EN62368 and come with a three-year warranty. Samples are available from all authorized distributors.
