The RBB10 series is a 4A non-isolated regulator power module offering an ultra-low profile for space-critical applications. Its "max-min" operating mode allows it to accept input voltages that are greater than, equal to, or less than the attenuated output voltage. The transition from minimum to maximum mode is smooth and output-free. The compact RBB10 module achieves up to 96% efficiency, enabling it to operate at full load in ambient temperatures up to 85°C without forced-air cooling. The 6-sided shielded package optimizes electromagnetic compatibility and thermal management. These features make this converter an ideal modular solution for a wide range of applications, including USB voltage regenerators, 3.3V to 5V converters, and regulators for supercapacitor or lithium-ion batteries.
