The Riello UPS Multi Sentry 60-80 kVA expands the existing product range of 10-12-15-20 kVA single-phase and 10-12-15-20-30-40-100-120 kVA three-phase UPS systems. These UPSs are ideal for protecting data centers, telecommunications systems, IT networks, and critical systems where poor power quality can lead to costly operational and service disruptions. The unit also offers the significant advantage of its compact size, measuring only 0.4 m³2.
Its design is extremely flexible, allowing full compatibility with single-phase or three-phase power supplies, and therefore eliminating any critical situation due to the UPS connection in the plant.
Thanks to its technology, Multi Sentry solves installation problems in systems where the power supply limits the installed capacity, where the UPS is powered by a generator, or where there are compatibility issues with harmonic-generating loads. Multi Sentry has zero impact on the power supply, whether it's the electrical grid or a generator.
“Using advanced technologies, we have designed three-stage inverters that guarantee high double-conversion efficiency, up to 96%, placing us among the highest (if not the highest) on the market,” explains Luca Buscherini, engineer and marketing director at Riello UPS. He continues, “These technological solutions allow for annual energy savings of over 50% compared to other similar products available on the market.”
Special attention has also been paid to battery protection. The Battery Care System adopted by Riello UPS involves managing battery capacity and characteristics to achieve better performance and extend battery life.
For example, temperature-based recharge voltage compensation prevents overcharging or overheating; battery testing allows for quick diagnosis of any problems or performance reductions; and deep discharge protection helps prevent damage or reduced performance.
Furthermore, thanks to the high-frequency charger, Multi Sentry reduces the ripple value to negligible levels, extending battery life and maintaining high performance for a long period of time.
Multi Sentry is equipped with a backlit graphic display (240x128 pixels) that provides UPS information, measurements, status, and alarms in 14 different languages, as well as voltage and current waveforms (oscilloscope mode) without the need for additional instruments. Multi Sentry also offers top-of-the-line communication interfaces and configuration software.
