The Raspberry Pi Model A+ has the same 40-pin GPIO header as the Model B+, with the same pinout and mounting holes for standard Attached on Top (HAT) hardware accessories, allowing users to quickly and easily add functionality. Furthermore, the Model A+ uses the same power architecture as the Model B+ for lower power consumption compared to its predecessor, the Model A. With its smaller dimensions of just 65 mm x 56 mm, compared to the 86 mm x 56 mm of the Model B+, the new Model A+ is more easily integrated and adaptable to mobile or battery-powered applications.
In addition to the improvements derived from the Model B+, the Model A+ offers a truly economical price with 256 MB of RAM and a single USB connector, providing the right resources for numerous industrial and consumer applications.
