The ETRX35x modules are small, low-power 2.4 GHz modules designed for easy integration into devices. Providing powerful wireless networking capabilities with rapid time to market, the family includes the ETRX358x modules, designed to add connectivity to Thread technology, a self-adjusting, low-power, IPv6-addressable mesh network with advanced security implemented at the network layer.

The Silicon Labs Telegesis ETRX35x modules, available from Mouser Electronics, are fully certifiable wireless modules that integrate the antenna and provide a pre-certified radio frequency (RF) design. Based on an ARM® Cortex®-M3 processor and offering up to 512 KB of flash memory and up to 64 KB of RAM, the modules are available with either an integrated chip antenna or a U.FL coaxial connector. These highly flexible modules feature a robust set of features, including JTAG programming and real-time packet tracking, hardware support for AES-128 encryption, 24 general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins, 16 radio channels, a data rate of 250 kbit/s over the air, and robust Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence.

To help engineers advance their connectivity designs for current and future Internet of Things (IoT) applications, Mouser also stocks fully tested and approved ETRX358x low-power mesh networking devices, which are ready for use with Thread technology. As with other devices in the ETRX35x family, the ETRX3585, ETRX3587, and ETRX3588 modules are based on the best-in-class ETRX357 and share many of the same module and radio features. Designed to enable reliable, secure, and scalable Internet connectivity solutions, the Thread-ready ETRX358x modules offer engineers a simple, fast, and agile future-proof migration path across a variety of existing wireless RF board designs, as well as applications in smart metering, medicine, smart lighting, building management, and home automation.
