dua eepromwebThe M24LR kit is an easily accessible development platform for contactless memories, with unique energy conversion capabilities. It contains everything engineers need to start designing battery-free electronic applications. It allows data exchange with NFC-enabled smartphones or RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) read/write devices compliant with ISO/IEC 15693.
This platform accelerates the creation and integration of data collection, tracking, and diagnostic functionalities in a wide range of energy-autonomous applications, such as phones and tablets, peripherals, electronic labels, household appliances, industrial automation, and detection and monitoring systems.
Thanks to its standard serial bus (I2C) and contactless RF interfaces, the M24LR kit with dual-interface EEPROM memory can communicate with the host system over-the-wire or over-the-air. Furthermore, its RF interface converts the radio waves emitted by RFID read/write devices and NFC-enabled phones or tablets into energy to power its circuitry, enabling battery-free operation.
The M24LR Development Kit consists of two boards: an RF board with a 13.56 MHz multi-protocol RFID/NFC transceiver (CR95HF) with SPI and UART serial ports, managed by a 32-bit STM32 microcontroller, which powers and communicates with a second board wirelessly. This second board is battery-free and includes a dual-interface EEPROM (M24LR), an 8-bit low-power microcontroller (STM8L), and a temperature sensor (STTS75).
The M24LR Development Kit is available from RS Components for delivery within 24/48 hours.
