rs289-touchboardThe touch microcontroller board turns almost any surface into a sensor. It includes a capacitive touch chip, an MP3 player, an SD card slot, a Li-Po battery charger with a boost circuit for 5V operation, and 12 electrodes. Simply connect a conductive material (such as conductive ink) to one of its 12 electrodes to play MP3s or use other functions like wireless communication or motor control.
The board is based on the Arduino Leonardo (Atmel ATMega32U4), has 12 capacitive touch inputs (Freescale MPR121), and MIDI/MP3 capability (VLSI VS1053B).
It also features 20 digital I/O pins and an on/off switch when connected to a battery.

The board measures only 84 x 62 mm with a maximum height of 10 mm.
It can be surface-mounted for bonding to various substrates.
It works with any conductive material.

"By starting our partnership with RS Components, we are opening an exciting new chapter in the history of Bare Conductive, which will help us expand our passion for creating unexpected ways to interact with electronics, now aimed at a global customer base," commented Matt Johnson, CEO of Bare Conductive.
