This SoC features multi-core processing with Arm® Cortex®-M33 and Arm Cortex-M0+ at 64 MHz for both applications and configurable media access control (MAC) in a low-power (<3.5 mA) system, a solution with a small footprint. The DA14592 multi-core SoC combines 15-bit, 8-channel sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), multiple general-purpose inputs and outputs (GPIOs), and optimized integration between chip memory (RAM/ROM/Flash) and SoC die size for cost-effective performance across a wide range of applications.
The DA14592 maintains Renesas' leadership in low-power radio by leveraging its new low-power mode, which enables a radio transmit current of just 2.3 mA at 0 dBm and a radio receive current of 1.2 mA. The DA14592 typically requires only six external components, offering best-in-class eBOM and the lowest cost and size of solution. Its high-precision on-chip RCX eliminates the need for an external crystal in sleep mode, as most applications only require a 32 MHz crystal. This SoC is compatible with the DA14592 development tools.
