The new DCL341x0B series ensures reliable operation with high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 30 kV/µs (min.) and an average data transfer rate of 25 Mbps (max.). Applications include programmable logic controllers (PLCs), field devices such as sensors and actuators, and I/O interfaces equipped with SPI communication.
The DCL341x0B series utilizes Toshiba's proprietary edge transmission method to achieve low power consumption of 0.18 mA per channel and stable data transmission speeds of up to 25 Mbps. Both products feature a three-channel forward and one-channel return configuration, with the DCL341L0B configured by default with low output logic and the DCL341H0B with high output logic.
These products feature an insulation voltage of 3000 Vrms and an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +125 °C, with a wide supply voltage range of 2.25 V to 5.5 V. Furthermore, the use of a versatile and compact SSOP16 package meets the miniaturization requirements of major industrial applications.
Digital isolators are essential for equipment requiring electrical isolation, as they ensure stable communication and control. Reducing the energy consumption of systems is a key step toward carbon neutrality. Their low power consumption and compact encapsulation contribute to energy efficiency and high-density integration in industrial equipment.
Toshiba has already begun mass production of its standard high-speed digital isolators—the DCL54xx01A, DCL52xx00, DCM34xx01, and DCM32xx00 series—for industrial and automotive equipment, achieving stable operation with CMT. Along with photocouplers, Toshiba will continue to offer high-quality isolation devices that ensure stable operation in communications and control of equipment requiring electrical isolation.
