The STAR-TEC component family now includes three new segments for cables with diameters from 12 to 25 mm. These EMC ferrites provide additional interference suppression in the 1 MHz to 1 GHz range.
The STAR-TEC NiZn core push-fit ferrites are designed for ease of use: a pre-fixing system on the cable and a protective mechanism for this clamping process simplify assembly and prevent potential problems. Thanks to the key included in each package, the ferrites can be opened and reassembled at any time, as is common practice in EMC laboratories. The internal locking mechanism prevents unauthorized removal of the ferrite without the key.
The plastic housing is UL94 V0 rated, and the component is specified for an operating temperature of -25 to +105 °C.
STAR-TEC snap-on mounting ferrites in sizes 12 to 15 mm, 17 to 21 mm and 22 to 25 mm are now available for supply from the warehouse in black or grey and in the desired quantity.
