The new Omron G9EJ-1-E is capable of interrupting 15A at 400V DC and consumes only 1.2W during switching. To enable the relay to interrupt high currents without damaging the contacts, the device incorporates a proprietary, high-efficiency magnetic circuit that suppresses arcing. The G9EJ-1-E also utilizes Omron's contact control system, which improves inrush current resistance and component life.
The new relay, measuring only 31mm x 27mm x 44mm and weighing a mere 50g, offers a compact and efficient switching solution for high-voltage DC systems. Features include high contact isolation of 1000 MegaOhms and a hermetically sealed housing. A large contact gap provides a high dielectric strength of 2500 Vac. Mounting brackets allow the application designer to position the relay in any orientation. The relay is supplied with quick-connect terminals for easy installation using standard commercial connectors. The relay is UL/CSA and VDE approved.
