The electronic safety switch is used for the safe monitoring of safety doors and their position on machines and manufacturing systems. The switch, with its M12 connection technology, is compact and can be mounted with particular flexibility on doors and covers. Thanks to integrated RFID technology, it offers maximum tamper protection for enhanced safety. The safety switches can be configured for independent operation or for logical serial connection according to EN ISO 14119 up to PL e.
In combination with the new PSRmini PSR-MC42 relay, important status information can be transferred to the control system via IO-Link, enabling the detection of safety faults and reducing downtime. The machine operator thus gains a cost-effective, comprehensive solution with new diagnostic capabilities for the smart factory.
