WE-MTCI is available in versions for nominal currents from 0.45 to 0.95 A. The coupled coil is the ideal solution for Buck/Boost converters with regulated and unregulated output voltages. Isolated converters, such as high-density flyback converters, are also suitable applications, as are step-up or step-down converters with auxiliary windings and autotransformer applications. The WE-MTCI double coil is readily available from stock in the required quantities.

SMT dual coil with multiple turns ratio WE-MTCI
In its range of coupled power inductors, Würth Elektronik eiSos has introduced the WE-MTCI multi-turns-ratio SMT double coil. This is their smallest coupled coil (5030 design) with turns ratios ranging from 1:1.5 to 1:3. The magnetically shielded, 0.8kV insulated double coil offers an operating temperature range of -40 to +125°C.
