Both the SOFT-SHIELD 3800 and 3700 are cost-effective EMI shielding and grounding solutions for electronic applications in various industries. The product offers 100 dB of shielding effectiveness in the 20 MHz to 10 GHz range.
With a working temperature range up to 125°C, the SOFT-SHIELD 3800 is ideal for high-temperature applications, backed by a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
In terms of composition, the SOFT-SHIELD 3800 consists of an electrically conductive, nickel-plated copper polyester taffeta fabric that wraps around an open-cell silicone foam. This abrasion- and shear-resistant wrap-around technology grounds the packing point-to-point, providing an electrically conductive solution to eliminate EMI gaps.
