Tamura Gate Drivers are high-quality components designed for high reliability and a long service life.
Founded in 1924 as Tamura Radio Store, Tamura Corporation is one of Japan's oldest electronics companies, continuing the philosophy of its founder, Tamura Tokumatsa: "We don't necessarily want to become a large company, but our products must be the best in the world."
Tamura is known for its expertise in producing transformers and inductor coils and has expanded its product line to include Gate Drivers, which have become an essential component in power electronics. Tamura's Gate Driver product line includes various models, each designed to meet the specific needs of different customers.
What is the TAMURA Gate Driver module?
The TAMURA Gate Driver is a 2-channel isolated circuit module for IGBT/SiC MOSFETs that incorporates an integrated DC/DC converter and drive circuit. The Gate Driver is designed for robust operation in applications using IGBT/SiC MOSFETs.
Key features of these Tamura products include high isolation capability, low switching loss, and high switching speed.

The Gate Driver Unit is Tamura's most comprehensive product. It consists of a Gate Driver module incorporating the necessary protections and gate resistors to directly drive IGBT/SiC MOSFETs.
Media MicroComputer offers support, starting with the IGBTs selected by the customer for their application, working with Tamura to select or design the module or unit best suited to the product's application needs. These applications can range from electric motor controls and solar panel inverters to industrial power supplies, robotics, battery chargers, electric vehicle charging stations, and more.
Tamura offers three types of configurations, from the most basic with only the DC/DC converter to the most complete, which includes MOSFETs and resistors.
