The CSO clip, designed for fuses with a diameter of 10.3 mm, is ideal for applications with voltages up to 1500 VAC/VDC and currents of 32 A. This model is now available through Rutronik.
The CSO clip is available in solder and screw/rivet versions. The solder version allows direct mounting to a printed circuit board (PCB) using through-hole technology, while the screw version offers additional flexibility in basic designs. The special copper alloy used in both versions provides high clamping force with minimal power loss.
This clip represents Schurter's response to the increased voltage requirements of photovoltaic (PV) systems. It is ideal for a wide range of PV and other DC applications, including inverters, battery charge controllers, and fuse wire supports, as well as e-mobility and industrial electronics projects. The new fuse clip complies with the RoHS directive and is the only model for PV systems to have cURus approval. Schurter also offers the ASO 10.3x38 PV fuse to complement the new CSO clip.
