The new series has been custom-designed for Maxim G3-PLC modems and is compatible with Enverv PLC modems. It offers optimal performance at 500 kbps in PRIME PLC smart networks.
It is a waterproof solution with a BNC connector integrated into the coupler. Other connections are available upon request.
The kit includes two units of the MICU 300A-S/LF series medium-voltage inductive coupler.
The MICU 300A-S/LF inductive coupler transmits the PLC signal between the power line and the PLC data receiver without requiring a communication cable connection to the mains power line. It offers a safer installation (high insulation > 5 kV) than a capacitive coupler.
