The new version of the product catalog showcases a whole range of additional components and an expanded product family. Among the key new additions is the WE-CMB HV compensated current mains coil for high AC voltage ranges up to 760 V. It stands out for its voltage rating, which is three times higher than that of the existing WE-CMB series.
The new WE-TPB HV series of 3-phase compensated current mains coils has also been designed for this voltage range. It features a patented, innovative design for the plastic housing, separator, and base. Typical applications include frequency converters and high-capacity charging stations.
New materials and designs
For power inductors coupled with flat wire windings, the highly regarded WE-CFWI series will feature two new designs with inductance values up to 10 μH. These coupled power inductors are used in SEPIC and CUK switching controllers, where high currents are required. Other new inductor developments include the WE-KI HC ceramic high-current coil for high-frequency applications, such as in the telecommunications sector. This new series comprises the 0402 and 0603 designs. The WE-PMMI multilayer SMD metal alloy power inductor showcases Würth Elektronik eiSos's outstanding work with new materials. Thanks to the printed double silver layers, the ohmic resistance has been reduced by 75%. A novel coating process for the metal alloy nanoparticles achieves not only exceptional performance but also a dielectric strength of 100 VDC.
