The BGE16 RT stands out for its wear-free operation. Both the detent and the integrated push button are generated by contactless magnets, so they do not wear out. Rotary and tactile signals are detected by a Hall sensor. In particular, the push button does not require an additional internal mechanical contact plate, which further increases the system's lifespan and makes it especially resistant to shock, vibration, and even vandalism. Another feature of the encoder is its high precision. The BGE16 RT can be configured with 16 or 24 latches per revolution, allowing for precise and fine-tuning. Furthermore, the encoder can be adapted to various requirements thanks to a robust 4 mm diameter stainless steel shaft, making it flexible for integration into a wide range of systems. If required, the 4 mm shaft can also be adapted to a 6 mm diameter.

Compact design with a wide range of applications.
With a compact housing diameter of only 16 mm, the BGE16 RT offers the same functions as the larger BGE25 model, but in a much smaller footprint. This makes it ideal for applications requiring a compact design. The central M10x0.75 mm mounting and customizable cable connector also facilitate installation in a wide range of applications. The BGE16 RT provides rotary A/B signals and a switching signal, with an operating voltage of 5 VDC.
Thanks to this versatile signal output, it is suitable for a wide range of applications in measurement technologies, machine building, medical technology, and other demanding industrial areas where accuracy and durability are paramount.

With the BGE16 RT, EBE Sensors + Motion offers a solution that combines maximum precision, reliability, and excellent haptic feedback.
