With a response time of up to 250 µs, the new Q3X sensor can detect up to 2000 events per second. Its robust, nickel-plated zinc housing is rated IP67, IP68, and IP69K for use in demanding environments.
The sensor's easy-to-read, three-digit display provides real-time information via a bright, highly visible indicator. Intuitive setup routines for presence/absence and orientation applications are performed using two touch buttons located below the display. It is designed to meet demanding applications, including mark detection, edge control, detection of small or very fine features, and subtle contrast changes.
The new Q3X features a visible laser beam, enabling easy alignment and precise detection over detection ranges up to 300 mm. On select models, a fixed background suppression distance allows the sensor to ignore problematic backgrounds. This new family boasts robust ambient light resistance.
