This unique, patented switching mechanism is designed for low-voltage applications up to 30 VDC. It is self-contained and can be easily inserted into various package formats. Standard IP67-rated package sizes are M8 and M12 with either a pin or ball-type actuator.
The applications targeted are in the automation, process control, and OEM industries that currently require two switches for position control. The MP600 series eliminates the lengthy adjustments required due to the hysteresis effect caused by the use of snap-action sensors or switches. This is typically the case in brake and air gap control applications, or in upper and lower limit control in process applications. Due to its size and accuracy, the MP600 can be easily used for initial position detection in any application with x and z motion.
