This is achieved by transmitting all raw 3D data or pre-processed information that is useful for the corresponding application. Its visualization tools and the reliability of the 3D information make Visionary-T suitable for applications in intralogistics, robotics, and industrial vehicles.
Two variants of these sensors are available: Visionary-T CX, a basic 3D camera that generates a high-quality 3D point cloud; and Visionary-T AG, an intelligent 3D camera that provides full or reduced 3D data, depending on the requirement.

It provides over 25,000 distance and intensity values in a single capture, requires no operator, and 3D information is also available for stationary applications. Furthermore, this sensor features a programming interface that allows 3D data to be transmitted to external computers for further analysis.
Thanks to its 3D time-of-flight technology, the Visionary-T provides real-time spatial and depth data for each image, even with static objects. It does this by outputting a raw point cloud, as well as reduced or complete image data, depending on the requirements and the specific variant. With this technology, the time of flight of a light signal between the reference object and the target object is measured for each point in the image. Once the time it takes for the reflected light signal to arrive is known, it is possible to calculate the distance—the third dimension—between the reference and target objects.
The result is the exceptional flexibility of use that distinguishes the Visionary-T: as a pre-configured variant for driverless transport vehicles or as a powerful 3D camera for individual programming.
