The launch also celebrates the 40-year professional collaboration between RS and Aim-TTi. During this time, Aim-TTi has been recognized for its innovation and continuous improvement, becoming one of Europe's leading manufacturers of general-purpose electronic test instruments and laboratory power supplies.

The TGF3000 series is the latest series of arbitrary waveform generators with a frequency capacity of up to 160 MHz, combined with two identical, high-performance channels that operate as independent generators or in coupled or tracking modes. The series also enables precise channel-to-channel phase control with a resolution of 0.001°.

The series provides a wide range of built-in waveforms along with custom arbitrary waveforms that can be used at sampling rates up to 800 MS/s with playback speeds up to 80 MHz. The units also come equipped with PC software for generating and editing arbitrary waveforms.

Among other features, it boasts high-resolution performance and the ability to generate pulses with low instability, as well as wide-bandwidth white noise. Furthermore, a wide range of modulations is available, including port-controlled, burst, and scan modes capable of utilizing internal or external trigger sources.

At the launch of the new TGF3000 series, Mark Edwards, CEO of Aim-TTi, commented: "Since 1978, when we began collaborating on the launch of the PL series of digital power supplies, through the merger with Thurlby Thandar in the late 1980s and beyond, our relationship with RS has been highly synergistic. This has continued to evolve to deliver the benefits of our cooperation and the highest levels of service to engineers working in product design and development in test bench environments.".

There are two models available in the TGF3000 series: the TGF3162, which is a 160MHz generator; and the TGF3082, which is an 80MHz generator.
