np0084webThe instrument contains two toroidal transformers: one for current measurement and the other for voltage generation. The voltage transformer generates a potential (E) across the loop being measured (resistance R). A current (I) is consequently generated across the loop and measured by the current transformer. Knowing the parameters E and I, the instrument displays the calculated resistance R on its screen. The T2000 clamp meter also measures AC current up to 20A and leakage current with a resolution of 0.05mA. Alarm thresholds can also be configured for each measurement.

Main functions:
- Measurement of resistance on earthing electrodes using the resistive ring method
- Direct measurement on the earth probe without interrupting the cable
- Measurement of leakage current in earthing installations
- Alarm threshold configuration for the measurement
- Saving of measurement results
- Data HOLD function
- Backlit display
- Auto power-off

The instrument is compliant with IEC/EN61010-1 in CAT III 150V, ideal for measurements in both
domestic and industrial environments.
