To facilitate integration into process control systems, the instrument is supplied with Enhanced EDD (Electronic Device Description). A "Quick Start Wizard" is included to accelerate commissioning.
For local commissioning, for example with a Handheld 375/475 terminal, the instrument is also compatible with Basic EDD. The Sitrans LR250 is also available with a Hart interface and a Profibus PA interface.
This compact, 2-wire radar level gauge (25 GHz) is plug-and-play and is configured and installed more quickly and easily than comparable instruments on the market. The instrument is universally applicable, making it ideal for liquid and slurry level measurement in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, hydrocarbon processing, and harsh environments.
