In addition to the high-speed multi-channel capabilities plus the large memory depth and isolated channel options common in Yokogawa's ScopeCorder family, the new DL850 has the ability to perform real-time electrical power measurements and analysis.
All members of the ScopeCorder family are equipped with a set of basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and other calculations. However, the new DL850E version also offers the /G5 option for real-time electrical power measurements, in addition to the existing /G3 option for real-time mathematical calculations and digital filtering, and the /G2 option for user-defined mathematical calculations.
With the /G5 electrical power option, trend calculations such as active power, power factor, integrated power, and harmonics can be performed at sampling rates up to 100 KS/s, using a digital signal processor (DSP) that can calculate and display up to 126 types of electrical power-related parameters in real time. This allows the user to visualize primary waveforms such as voltages and currents alongside the calculated power parameters, as well as the ability to trigger on any or all of them. Harmonics, bar charts, or vector charts can be calculated and displayed. Both RMS mode and Power Analysis are available. In addition to the powerful power calculations of the /G5 option, all the functionalities of the real-time math option /G3 are included.
Like the current members of Yokogawa's ScopeCorder family, the DL850E combines the features of a high-performance digital oscilloscope with a multi-channel data acquisition system. It can capture and analyze both transients and waveform trends from milliseconds to 200 days, saving the acquired data to the large acquisition memory, the internal hard drive, and/or an external PC hard drive.
The flexibility of the modular inputs allows the DL850E to combine electrical signal measurements, physical parameters measured by sensors, and CAN/LIN serial bus data. A selection of 17 different input modules allows the ScopeCorder to be configured with up to 128 channels, giving engineers a comprehensive view of any application by synchronizing different electrical and/or physical signal measurements. Individually isolated and shielded channels provide high resolution and high sampling rates, while the unique "dual capture" feature allows high-rate transient capture during long-duration, low-rate measurements using two different acquisition speeds.
The ScopeCorders DL850E and DL850EV are equipped with a deep and fast acquisition memory, allowing the acquisition of up to 2 Gigapoints of data and providing sampling rates of up to 100 MS/s simultaneously across multiple channels. The unique "historical memory" function allows users to quickly isolate and examine previously acquired and saved waveforms for more detailed analysis.
The ScopeCorder DE850EV Vehicle Edition is designed for engineers working in the automotive and rail industries, among others. A common measurement challenge is combining electrical signal measurements, physical behavior parameters acquired by sensors, and CAN or LIN bus data transmitted by the device's management and control system. The new DL850EV Vehicle Edition addresses this requirement by providing a comprehensive view of the electromechanical system's dynamic behavior. The result is a considerable time saving compared to other options such as post-analysis on a PC or using other software.
The DC power option allows the DL850EV to be used in a vehicle, even powered by the vehicle's DC battery. With the DC option, the ScopeCorder can be powered by both AC and DC, providing a more reliable and versatile power supply. Even if the AC power fails, the DL850EV automatically switches to DC power without interrupting measurements.
The quality and reliability of the DL850E and DL850EV are backed by a standard 3-year warranty.
